I am a third generation Californian whose parents moved from Berkeley to Clayton when I was three. I was raised with two brothers one which we lost early in life. My parents were both teachers looking for an affordable area to raise their children. I grew up in the 60s and Clayton which was much like Livermore at that time. I am a mother of two beautiful boys who are my pride and joy. I went to college in Oregon and then moved to Silicon Valley, Alameda. When it came time to raise a family, we moved back to my hometown. Much like Livermore, Clayton has evolved and progress has come, but both still have their small-town charm. I am an avid reader, hiker, love cooking, bocce and enjoy water and snow sports! I am also an active volunteer for the Contra Costa Solano Food Bank.
