I grew up in Tucson, Arizona.  I graduated from the University of Arizona where I met my husband, Ken Thralls. We married after college, moved around for 4 years, and then found Livermore. We have lived here for 39 years, raised our 4 children here, and have loved the community. We always wanted to live in a small town, near a big city, where Ken could be an engineer, We enjoy being close to the mountains where we can ski in the winter. It turns out Livermore has been perfect for us. I taught high school for four years, then stayed home with my kids for 17 years.  Ken and I were part of a group that started Young Life in the Tri-Valley, and we have been serving as Young Life leaders to the youth for the past 25 years. We plan adventures for them, invite them into our lives, and share God’s unconditional love with them. It has been incredibly rewarding!
