My name is Danni and I am originally from San Jose, CA. I graduated from Santa Clara high school in 2008. I played 4 years of Varsity soccer there as was Captain my senior year. Following high school, I attended De Anza College where I continued to play soccer for a year before transferring out into a Dental Assisting program. I was a dental assistant for 10 years but still had a desire to be involved with soccer after my playing days had ended. A friend of mine gave me an opportunity to coach a U8 girls team and it was then that I had found my new calling. I eventually left the dental field and pursued coaching soccer full time. Since then I have had the opportunity to coach at the youth level, high school and with various Futsal programs. When I’m not on the soccer field, you can find me with my husband Anthony and 2 kids, Anthony Jr. and Lia. Our family relocated from San Jose to Manteca in 2021 and I am currently coaching 3 girls teams with Livermore Fusion Soccer Club.
Q: What are some fun activities to do in Livermore?
I am still exploring Livermore but so far I have enjoyed the Farmer’s markets downtown, hiking at Brushy Peak, and soccer of course.
Q: What makes the Livermore community so special?
The vineyards and the downtown area.
Q: Please tell us about where you work and what you love about what you do?
I coach soccer at Livermore Fusion Soccer Club. I coach 3 girls teams, U11-U13, and my favortie thing about it are the people. The kids are so much fun and I love seeing them succeed but more importantly how they support eachother in losses. The coaches are so diverse in their backgrounds and each person brings their own flaire to the group. The parents are super supportive some of the loudest cheerleaders. It feels like a family.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I just celebrated 1 year with Livermore Fusion Soccer Club.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Dane Stark. His daughter plays on one of my teams and his family owns Page Mill Winery.
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
My favorite movie is The Greatest Showman and my favorite show is Friends.
Q: What advice would you give to people?
You may not have control over a situation but you will always have control over how to react to it.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
I love all of the vineyards and the trails around them. Downtown is another fun place to stroll. I always find a new shop to check out

I’ve been the same height, 5’5, since 4th grade

Christmas

My dad inspires me to work hard and never give up.
