I moved to Livermore in the early 2000s to be closer to family and worked locally until opening up my own auto detailing business, Kleankarz, in 2012. We have proudly serviced the Bay Area continuously growing to offer premium services such as window tinting and paint protection.
Q: What are some fun activities to do in Livermore?
My family and I enjoy the outdoors, especially bike rides through Sycamore Grove & hikes in Holdner Park.
Q: What makes the Livermore community so special?
Livermore is a tight knit community that supports one another, which has been especially apparently through the last two years of the pandemic. We love to support local and appreciate the continuous support of our local customer base.
Q: Please tell us about where you work and what you love about what you do?
I work throughout the Bay Area but our shop is located in the heart of downtown Livermore. I love meeting and connecting with customers and car enthusiasts. I love providing a service that will ensure the livelihood of your vehicle, and work hard to ensure that the quality is up to industry standards. Vehicles are an investment & being able to extend that “new car feel” through a expert detail or a custom paint protection application really makes the Kleankarz difference!

My favorite restaurants in our community include Wasabi Bistro, Strings Italian Cafe & Bill’s Cafe
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I am celebrating ten years of being a proud business owner in the community!
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
I began providing auto detail services to the San Francisco Giants in 2014 and have been invited back each season since. Players like Buster Posey, Brandon Belt, & Matt Cain are certainly a few of my most interesting connections made while working in the community.
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
I enjoy a good action movie, The Italian Job will always be one of my favorites. I enjoy televised professional sports like the SF Giants and Golden State Warriors.
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Take the risk and follow your dreams. You’ll never regret taking a chance on yourself. It will take work, but it is worth the struggle to build something that is all your own.
Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
I am sad to see the former business Dom’s Outdoor Outfitters close it’s doors after several decades in the Livermore community. The business embodied the cornerstone of family business and I’m proud to know them personally.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
I love that Livermore is so diverse and community driven. It makes me proud to raise a family here!
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I never dressed up for Halloween as a kid growing up in Mexico, so it’s fun to see my son celebrate Halloween even though I never did.
Q: What is your favorite holiday?
Christmas is my favorite time of year because I get to visit with family and friends and take some time off.
Q: Who inspires you?
My family inspires me to work hard and provide a comfortable life for them.
