I grew up in Pleasanton and moved to Livermore and have lived here for the past 18 years. Raising my 3 sons in this community has been amazing. One of my sons has graduated from Granada, while my middle son is now a freshman there and my youngest son is a sixth grader at Mendenhall. I love the feel of a small town community that Livermore has. I am a single mom who owns my own jewelry business named Tangled Chain and I also work as a Para Dducator at Smith Elementary. I keep myself busy with my kids, friends, my business and work. I love to go explore new places along the coast as well as the mountains. I am usually running around a with my kids so if you see me just stop and say “hi”. I love meeting new friends around town.
Q: What are some fun activities to do in Livermore?
I love to hike Sycamore Grove and its always fun to walk downtown and shop all the local businesses here.
Q: What makes the Livermore community so special?
It’s a safe community to raise kids and everyone always looks out for one another.
Q: Please tell us about where you work and what you love about what you do?
I own my own jewelry business named Tangled Chain and I absolutely love designing pieces. I make a lot of customized jewelry for my customers. It makes my heart happy to see ladies wearing my jewelry when I’m out and about. I also work at Smith Elementary as a Para Educator. It’s rewarding to work with children who need a little extra help with mainstreaming into general education classrooms. It truly is rewarding to work with all the kids and teachers.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
My boys and I head to the Ale house, Casa Orozco, Da Boccery and Demitri’s.

I have lived in Livermore for the past 18 years.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
This is a hard question to answer….I have met the most amazing people here in Livermore. Everyone has something so special about them. From the teachers that shape our kids to the leaders here in our own community who help keep us all safe and make the best decisions for all of us right down to my neighbors and friends. Everyone is interesting to me in one way or another.
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
One of my favorite movies is the Wedding Singer or any comedy movie. My favorite show right now is Yellowstone.
Q: What advice would you give to people?
To enjoy life since we only have one shot at it. Also to laugh daily.
Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
The Vine Theatre. It gives the old school feel from the older days.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
I love that we have so many wineries here and the trails that lead all over Livermore to the most amazing spots
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I love to do my own home improvements and I also refurbish old furniture into amazing new pieces.
Q: What is your favorite holiday?
Christmas is definitely my favorite holiday with all the lights and decorations.

My three boys inspire me everyday
